I definitely recommend buying if your a fan of the game! The only place I can say where it loses on performance for some weird reason(patch maybe?)is when you enter a bathroom(lol)but who the hell stays in the bathroom for the whole experience haha. But when I used blu-tooth to hook up my ps4 controller, it was very delayed.BTW the shop class is actually playable now!īUY NOW! I thought it was going to be hard to manage this game with the touch controls etc but NO totally wrong, it's super easy as they've reworked them for IOS and Android and you can also customise them too, plus the game still looks great even after so many years. The controls are pretty good and easy to get used to. But this dosen't really make the game look worse, but it does make me slightly disapointed. The lighting effects, such as shadows, don't exist. Rockstar said that the graphics were improved(which they are)and the lighting better. But other than that fantastic game deserves the 5 star ratingįun but Slightly Fawed It's still an amazing game that made the port to mobile look like childs play. Not one dropped frame or stutter with graphics maxed out on SD 810! The controls are fantastically mapped when playing with a controller only thing you could do to improve the game is add free aim when using the controller instead of lock on mode as somewhat ruins the emersion. Theres a great graphics overhaul here! Just need camera zoom option!!!!!!!Īmazing game and fantastic port This port is better than GTA SA, it actually fits the whole screen and immersive mode is activated. The camera is a bit too zoomed out on this version! This is actually the best the game has ever looked, way better looking than the 360 and PC versions and way better looking than the PS4/PS2 versions. I own it on 5 systems and I have beaten it innumerable times. Immersive, tons of interaction, excellent development and incredible replay value. This needs some attention, desperately.Best Game On Handheld This is one of the greatest games ever made- definitely Rockstar's best. Yep you read that right - every single time, not only the first time like most do it. Hope you can fix these two problems.ĭecent game with fantastic controls and graphic but an embarrassingly terrible implementation of DRM forcing players to be online at every single launch. I will continue to have fun replaying this game on my phone in anticipation of its sequel coming to Nintendo Switch.Įverything is too small on the screen, otherwise this is a great game! Could you please add a 2x or 3x zoom mode like other games have? Thank you! The license check is annoying, don't like the fact that I'm forced to have the battery drained so I've uninstalled this. I advise switching the Virtual Controls to Touch Controls, because they are far less frustrating (but still take time to get used to). The Escapists on mobile provides an experience very similar to the original, while offering some updated visuals and sounds. It's been a while since I've found something new that I like. There hasn't been a good game released on Google play in a long time until this. This makes it harder and annoying to play when I'm on a road trip or when the wifi isn't working. The game itself is awesome, but -2 stars for having to be online every time you launch it. Pretty sure this is a bug, as if the game doesn't know you're no longer in combat and attempts to draw a path to the guard and begin attacking them again. I noticed you run much faster than you normally can, and you can't resist it from walking to the guard. The only problem I found is a bug where when a guard attacks you, and you run away, you sometimes will lose control of your character and it will run super fast back to where of the guard is at that attacked you and begin attacking them again. The game is great! The control scheme is not bad, considering its a mobile game. :) Apparently the gate opend because of every guard being unconscious so I ran out of that place. They all died one by one even though I didn't even touch the screen. I didn't attend to a course and the guards attacked me. I'm giving this a 5 although there are some flaws: -internet connection required -No complete tutorial -auto-attack is on all the time Maybe there is a button but I can't find how to turn of the auto-attacking, although I accidentaly beat one of the prisons by doing almost nothing thanks to it. It's incredibly easy and provides no reason to progress any other way. Yet, I've escaped from the first 3 prisons now by beating up a couple of guards and walking out the front gate in the first 2 days. Fantastic port of the PC game, standalone however, the depth is great, lots to do and plot around.
